Weinschenke Am Karmelitermarkt in Vienna

Super small, only two tables and a few bar seats, but great burgers, chips and dip. Would recommend.

5/5 the burgers are great and the location is fabulous. Waiters are really nice. Only downside is the rather Hugh price, but still totally worth it.

First of all the place is very small and it has only few tables. The smell inside is disgusting and the stuff rude. We ordered take away the cheeseburger was ok but the veggie one was hard as a stone, the petty cold and probably not fresh and the bread too... All in all won't recommend it

Great place for burgers despite the small space but it's all worth a meal there.

The place is tiny and not as cozy as the original in the Franzensgasse but the burgers are equally excellent. The fries could be less fried for my taste but the different sauces/dips are absolutely amazing! All in all this is still one of the best burger places in Vienna that also serves good wine and beer. If I could leave 0 stars. Would do it. For 15min nobody was coming to ask us for drink or food. Dont go there. Food could be good and I believe it is but service is extremely poor.

Lovely place at the market square. Vegan burger was nice and the chips were excellent, crispy and tasty. Good beer and lovely Zweigelt (Austrian red wine). The waitress was super nice :)

Good place. The staff very friendly and charming. The food absolutely delicious. If you go to Vienna you have to go there.

A very decent burger for an ok price. The fries on the other hand were fried to much for my taste but the homemade ketchup they were served with was absolutely delicious. The price for the whole meal plus a drink was 15 euro (although it is important to note I had the cheapest burger available) In general this place is a good choice if you are looking for a good burger but definitely isn't a must for burger lovers

The best burger in vienna.

Waited for our food for an hour, and when we asked where it is, they forgot about our order. It was a very frustrating hour to sit around not do anything expecting food to be delivered, but the waiters were professional and nice and gave us free drinks. The chef acted extremely unprofessionally and went on a complaining rampage to the WAITERS for some reason even though he mucked up everything, and it wasn't exactly the most enjoyable restaurant experience I've had.Huge kudos to the staff though for handling the situation well. Food was great and tasty so no complaints there.

Street food at its best. Actually on the street, small beautiful place. Burgers are very well crafted. Some of the best I ever ate in Europe. Not cheap, but totally worth.

A small, cozy restaurant that offers proactive and friendly service. Go there to have a "different" burger in case you're a bit tired of the classic ones, they have some creative proposals. Mine was kinda big, tasty but honestly a bit heavy on the stomach (ok it's a burger, one should know that straight up, I assume). 34 Eur for 2 b., sauce, chips, water, juice and coffee. I mean, it's ok 👍

First off , the burgers are pretty good. The price is justified. The atmosphere is also pretty good too, at the Kamelitermarkt, that's what streetfood should be. But that's it for the positive things to say. We ordered several times. E.g . when we sat there, via foodora and once we ordered and took the food home. Every time the waiting time was pretty long, even for the foodora order. The waitresses could be a bit friendlier and more competent. Last time we overheard a conversation from other guests with the waitress, where they obviously were not asked what they wanted to order and asked her. She just replied with a harsh yes. And one of our burgers was wrongly served what we realized when we where at home. All in all good burgers, but better delivered at home and even then there could be surprises.

Super yummy burgers, I had veggie burger which was very nice and all the friends who had non-vegetarian burgers were raving about the quality of the meet. Easy to access location, small but cosy place and very friendly and nice staff. Also great music! Definitely recommended :)

The burger was great, the fries excellent and the vegan spicy ketchup was a taste explosion! Would happily go back there. They only take cash but otherwise, perfect!

Was not bad at all.. The burger itself was the right size. Juicy meat. Chips have pleasantly surprised with the shape and home-made feeling. Quite a nice atmosphere in the outside seating. One of the top burgers in this non-burger city.

This is probably one of the best places to get a burger in Vienna. Excellent beef or vegan burger. Super nice variety of dips. I recommend taking the additional 150g of beef for the ultimate experience.

Very nice and small place in a good area. The terrace is big, but the area inside is small. The service is good and quick. Price a bit high, but worth it, quality is good. Coming back in summer time.
